1. Constant supply of hot tater
Unlike the conventional storage tank water heaters, iHeat electric tankless on demand water heaters do not maintain a reservoir of hot water at all times. There are a few benefits that result from this. First of all, while maintaining a constant supply of hot water may be convenient, it also means that that water supply must be continuously heated. If your storage tank is not properly insulated it will suffer standby heat loss. This is not a problem with the iHeat electric tankless water heaters.
2. Instant Hot Water On Demand
When you open a hot water faucet in your home cold water is fed through the tankless water heater. An electric heating element will then heat only the water that you demand at that very moment. This means that no water is heated except that which is being immediately used, eliminating standby heat loss. You are also never at risk of depleting the hot water in your storage tank.
3. Save 30% to 60% on water heating costs
Our electric tankless water heaters are designed to be highly efficient and only heat water on demand. This is a revolutionary advantage over inefficient tank-style heaters. It has been calculated that by switching to a tankless water heater, you can reduce your annual water heating costs by nearly 60%. Overall, a consumer who uses the same amount of hot water can save between 30-60% of their water heating energy costs assuming they do not change their water usage habits. Annual energy costs for heating water in the typical home range from $150-400 per year but this varies widely.

sorry for the delay in answering you we had some difficulties logging in to the system to answer our customers. This event you are experiencing has to do with your electrical connection configuration. You must look at the main electrical panel to make sure your neutral wires and ground wires are not connected in the same bus-bar. Also you must make sure you have enough electrical power to sustain the heater. Please look at the power rating of the heater and evaluate the amount of power being consumed in the panel, and do an electrical calculation to make sure that you have enough power to run all f the electrical appliances in the home.

October 23, 2015 AT 3:57 pmI found it very convenient for just one person in studio apt. I placed the shower head I had it installed by a certified license electrician and is working very good. My problem is the condo association, they want me to install the 30 gallons unit that broke the other day and it flood 6 units ,the pipe broke they said,I have to do more research as to really what happened there . The shower head functions perfectly Have you heard of a condo association not allowing the use of these kind of water heater???? They only accept the 30 gallons unit, will cost me like $700. with installation as they said. I have no use for that, being a retired low budget old lady.
I do not see the point on spending money that I don’t have and a product that I do not need
I have to find more about either take them to court with one of the company rep to explain the product or just do like the old days, take a bath, heat a pot of water and pour it into the tub with good smelling oils and cold water .
Did somebody had this experience with there condos’ Association and how was the outcome? Thanks!

April 27, 2016 AT 12:47 pmHello Mrs Alvarez,
Its unfortunate you have to live under these conditions because a large condo association which sits inside a small room decides the fate for all tenants. This is what our society has come to. The few chosen make the decisions for all. This sounds like Politics. Once the association has the control, the few make decisions on how you need to live and what you can or cannot do, sounds like a dictatorship if you ask me, and to add insult to injury you have to pay them every month or you will lose your home.
If you take a look at your association agreement you will find what upgardes you can or cannot do, unfortunately the association has more power than one resident and we have seen this before many times where the association frowns on the technology but after several tenants or residents keep calling and contacting the front office have been able to sway there decision purely based on the water and electrical savings the association would enjoy if they only gave it a chance.
Well getting back on track here, tankless water heaters have been around for several years in Europe, and have been widely used now in the USA. The fact that not many of us know about this technology and how it works, makes it challenging.
More over the bigger companies whom do not benefit from the savings will make it difficult for you to use these products as it may require them to have to invest into there infrastructure, and this may not be very pleasing to the boards of there respective companies, or associations.
This fact alone gives fear to the decision makers because of the lack of knowledge they have with Electric Tankless Water heaters. If they would understand that if every home used multiple tankless water heaters in their home they stand to save a total of 42% in savings between water consumption and electrical usage. This brings down the countries carbon foot print, and allows the reduction or eliminate all together water restrictions imposed to due water shortages.
Tankless water heaters are here to stay, we are small yet powerful, we can heat just about any volume of water in a home quickly and up to .99 EF. Tankless Water Heaters can save you time , money and space.
The real question here is, who wouldn’t love tankless water heaters?

November 2, 2015 AT 11:20 pmwhy doesn’t the manual tell me what the wire colors do?
Drakken
April 27, 2016 AT 12:54 pmGood day
the manual is based on an electrical contractor doing the installation of the electrical portion of the tankless water heater.
This system uses 240 Volt circuits which can be very dangerous to someone who is not a certified electrician. The colors are quite simple, but whats more important is the size of this wire (AWG American Wire Gauge) and where it is connected. This is what really matters when it comes to wires.
Its important that you always follow your local and State Building codes for installation. Although installation may be easy, it must be carried out by licensed professionals to ensure safety and proper performance of the product.
